Christmas List 2009
Every year I get asked what I want for Christmas. Apparently this is a hard thing, as I’m a geek, and nobody knows quite what to buy me. Seeing as most of the things I like to do are quite expensive (computers, amateur radio, techno-gadgets, etc.), I’m trying to keep my list of things practical and simple this year. Nobody needs to be buying expensive gifts in a down-turning economy, and I do not need another single gadget!
So here ya go:
- Business socks! (Yes, really!)
- Pair of business slacks or Dockers (44×32)
- P1 or P2-Jr key from www.k8ra.com (Ok, this is expensive…)
- Polo-style (Golf) shirts (XXL)
- New aluminum frying pan (NOT non-stick) from Sam’s or Costco
- Some casuals (sweats) for hanging around the house. (XXL)
- A small kitchen gadget is always nice… Maybe a new set of measuring spoons or cups. Not that I use the ones I have all that often!
- “Basic Antennas” from the American Radio Relay League. Or from R & L Radios.
I’ll include more as I think of them.
