Every year I get asked what I want for Christmas.  Apparently this is a hard thing, as I’m a geek, and nobody knows quite what to buy me.  Seeing as most of the things I like to do are quite expensive (computers, amateur radio, techno-gadgets, etc.), I’m trying to keep my list of things practical and simple this year. Nobody needs to be buying expensive gifts in a bleak economy, and I do not need another single gadget!

So here ya go:

• Hanes Undershirts (Yes, really!  XXL)
• Pair of business slacks or Dockers (It doesn’t always have to be exciting, y’know!  44×32)
• P1 or P2-Jr key from www.k8ra.com (Ok, maybe ONE gadget…  But a guy’s gotta dream, right?)
• Polo-style (Golf) shirts (Back to the practical. XXL)
• A toaster oven – I saw  one at Sam’s Club this morning, and it looks very nice!…



• How about a charging station for all of my electronics?
• A subscription to Make Magazine would be nice!
• I’ve always wanted a Zippo lighter.  Dunno why, seeing as I don’t smoke….
• I’m lusting for an Apple Magic Mouse… This doesn’t count as a “gadget”, because the mouse I’m currently using is a 6 year-old wired mouse that doesn’t work without a mousepad. BOO……
